Texas weather has a reputation, and this past January it decided to make a statement. An ice storm rolled into Warrenton the weekend of the Winter Show - January 22nd through 25th, 2026 - and did its best to shut things down. It didn't stand a chance.
The dealers showed up. The shoppers showed up. The musicians showed up. And Zapp Hall at 4217 TX-237 in Round Top, Texas did what it always does - it threw a party worth remembering.
The Winter Show was everything Zapp is built on. Killer outfits, one-of-a-kind finds, creativity and style packed into every square foot of the hall. The Bubble Lounge was pouring, the Café was fueling the troops, and Saturday night the Zapp Hall stage came alive with Bo Brumble opening and The Statesboro Revue closing out the night with the kind of roots-infused, Southern rock set that makes you forget there's ice on the ground outside.
Yes, the show wrapped a day early. The weather won that one. But the energy inside was loud, warm, and completely unforgettable - and honestly, that last day felt less like a loss and more like a bonus day for the people who were already there digging through the good stuff.
